ABOUT RICK SEXTON

Rick started training in martial arts at 12 years old. In 1997 Rick joined O.C. Kickboxing and Mixed Martial Arts ran by Ajarn Dan Sullivan where Rick would start a long journey of training and later on teaching. As a coach Rick specialized in Jeet Kune Do, Kali, Savate, Muay Thai, and MMA. Rick has taught classes and provided private lessons on and off for over 20 years in an impactful yet fun and engaging manner. Rick has taught self defense seminars for private citizens, various LEO’s, and military personnel. Coach Rick has worked with the U.S. Marshals S.R.T. (Special Response Team) and various Federal Agents. Rick has also done work as a fight choreographer.

Even greater than Rick’s love for martial arts is his passion for Jesus Christ. Rick has been in pastoral ministry since 2003. Rick is currently on staff at The Gate Church in Franklin TN as a youth pastor.
